Hi everyone, I have a problem. A while ago, i got in some trouble with DoW. I didn't intentionally do anything wrong, but nevertheless, something wrong was done by me! I am looking for anyone who remembers speaking to jeromekeating or the false name -=(DoW)=-Jerome or _Jerome_ about this issue. Please take the time to read this.. I am having problems clearing this up all over the place!

Long time ago, i wanted to join DoW. I signed up to the forum...however, the website was difficult to understand (and i was new at this) and so i mistakenly thought it was the DoW clan i signed up to. Lol. woops.. big mistake. I put dow tag on my name...
So here's what happened.. First i went on dow server.no problem yet. left server, nexd day i was banned..no clue why at this point.. anyhoo, went on another server.. they told me i was not dow.. im like what? this was confusing... See I also signed up to the forum using hotmail, which is not accepted. So my forum reg. got deleted. i signed up again and swore that i was DoW..i used cogeco email.. still, got banned from another server.. then, when i finally figured out that the forum was diff from the clan, ooh boy.
So i removed the tag. Still, the name with the tag was on the dow banlist... ppl saw it and banned me until i get that one removed... i spoke to several ppl, and eventually, original name (without tag) removed from ban list. However, the name with the tag was not. oiiiii! this got me kickbanned once again recently... i think.... More emails all over the place!
So i believe now, both names are off the DoW ban list..
So anyway from the beginning i didn't do anything bad (intentionally)..
Thats my big history with DoW.. I emailed acedeal sometime in the duration of all this but he didn't respond. It was through talking to admins that i got unbanned. Acedeal may or may not remember me, and in fact he may not know anything about me at all. Im hoping he does.. Anyway, I am going to go on DoW forums to find out who can tell my story... I am posting this message in a few other forums on the DoW websinte as well,. I have just been told a second ago that people are going to look into it, so i probably dont need to post this, but nevertheless, i want to figure out who i have been talking to because i dont remember any of their names..
Hopefully soon i can get this cleared up ... just remember... i never tried to harm anyone....!

I have admined when you were playing under the DoW name and under the jeromekeating name.

I do believe i banned you from one server and Oc-mavric ban you from another when you were under the jeromekeating name. I talked to you in a server when i was about to ban you again, and i contacted DoW-Acedeal and asked him about it, he said "he is not ban anymore, it was just a misunderstanding" so as far as i see it i think you are out of the woods bud, and you were out of there a few months ago.

Don't get by my word though.

yes i remember that, and i was ok then. however it's now that ppl from other clans want to check out my history cause they prob heard something about me.
I don't think its any real big problem.. but thanks, that helps a ton! now i can at least have one person to refer to.. Although i think the problem will be fixed among acedeal and the others.

i sent a more recent email to someone..don't know who.. it was the battalion command group .. it explains the whole situation.. I was only member of the forum.. i thought it was dow..Anyhoo, I was talking to a bunch of people and got really confused but now heres how it stands: I found out that im not member of dow and i changed my username back..i originally changed it because i thought i was dow.. i don't know how this whole thing works.. now my username is jeromekeating and i have an account with the dow forum with a cogeco email address. I'm sorry for using the -=DoW=- name, i thought i was dow. Anyway, I found out how to actually apply for dow membership and its pending.

I don't know if this is where i should send my email, and ive sent it to another place as well but i just hope this can be sorted out because i had no intent of impersonating a DoW member. Sorry for the username, and i hope you and others understand.

I think most of this trouble stems from some April 4th issue, about 1 month after I sent you a note telling you to remove the -=DoW=- Tag.

I think the reaon that all this is still going on with you is, that if reading this topic correctly;

ok here's how it is.
First i was banned for false tags. then, after removing tag, i was banned again (for once having false tag)
after getting unbanned, i may or may not have been banned in the future (for once having false tag)
I had a false tag for a period of two or three days, then never again after that.
I never repeated the offence of having a false tag. I see now that the name -=DoW=-Jerome AND -=DoW=-jeromekeating were both used. This change occurred sometime in the confusion, when i lost track of my forum account. Acedeal can probably see from emails he recieved that i had a variety of usernames in the forum. I think some were deleted for use of hotmail, and i forgot passwords/usernames for others. I was really confused. Overall, it was only a period of a few days that I had any dow tag on any name. As for the ghost, you can see from the other forum (http://www.dow-sniper.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=837&amp;highlight=jerome ) that it was a keybind and i did remove it immediately. It's not like i like ghosting so much that i made a keybind... the reason is that after first discovering the ghost and god and other cheats, i went on empty (non-dow) servers, as well as single-player maps (using the "start_<mapname>" comand, and experimented with all kinds of cheats. This is when i applied the keybinds.
I'm gonna say it again... These offences were accidental, and NEVER have i INTENTIONALLY broken rules or committed offences. Please note that I only discovered AAO a couple months or so before the incidents, and only discovered cheat servers a week or so before the incident. I am a total newbie, plz gimme a break.
