    MSI installer?

    anyone know how to make an installer for xp that will install updates and other programs such as office word perfect ect..... ????

    Both of those were recently recomended on another forum I frequent, but in the context of trying to install mods. Not sure if theyre suitable for whatever it is you are trying to do....

    But if you want to make an XP CD install with all new files/updates etc then look here for slipstream software(i use it to include SATA drivers and take off funny languages that I dont need in XP)

    cool.. thanks.. I have Nlite and Wininstall Not so much slipstremaing but when we get a new pc we spend at least and hr doing windows updates, and time is money..

    I always save the update to a file, and then put them on a disk, then when you reload just run the files on the disk, windows and office will download the files in order, just keep the files numbered and remember what number your on
